Raymond James welcomes seasoned financial advisor team managing over $800 million in Arizona

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Brian Flader, Michael Flader and Chris Young to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel ­– in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to Edward Sudzina, Southwest regional director for RJA.

The team arrives from RBC Capital Markets, where they managed approximately $828 million in client assets. They are joined by senior client service associates Brittney Beard and Jamie Turner. As Flader & Young Wealth Management of Raymond James they serve business owners, families, individuals, retirees and pre-retirees as a part of RJA’s Scottsdale branch.

Brian brings 30 years of financial services industry experience to his role as portfolio management director and senior vice president of investments. Previously serving at RBC Capital Markets for 16 years, his professional experience is backed by a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Life Underwriter® and the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM professional designations.

Michael, brother to Brian, earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona, and began his career in 1997 at UBS before transitioning to RBC Capital Markets. He brings 27 years of experience to his role as portfolio management director and senior vice president of investments and holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional designation.

With 24 years of experience, Young holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certifications in addition to an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in political science.
